Henry: Liverpool might leave Anfield

Liverpool owner John W Henry has admitted the club may be forced to leave their historic Anfield home.

Henry, in response to a question from a Reds supporter on Twitter, wrote: "Anfield would certainly be our first choice.

"But realities may dictate otherwise. So many obstacles..."

A move away from Anfield would certainly cause dismay among some supporters, but the owner would still see it as a crucial move to be able to compete at the highest level at home and abroad.
