Views: Is Tottenham's £160M “Impossible Dream” a joke?

In the aftermath of a great night for Tottenham, where the English club managed to hold on to a goalless home draw against AC Milan and eventually reach the last eight of the Champions League, manager Harry Redknapp claimed Tottenham were living the “impossible dream”

However, looking at the numbers, we at Sick Puppies are rather surprised by the comments.

Having spent about £160m on transfers over the last three seasons excluding wages, reaching the later stages of the Champions League should surely be their ambition rather than an 'impossible dream'.
