Torres decides to sing 'You'll Never Walk Alone'

The tradition goes way back to the old days of Dennis Wise; any new player who signs for Chelsea has to stand up and sing a song to the rest of the players and staff and it was Fernando Torres' turn to undergo the initiation.

Fernando, a £50m buy from Liverpool in the January transfer window took his time before deciding this week what to sing.

Torres decided to taunt his new team-mates by singing Liverpool's and Celtic's anthem: You'll Never Walk Alone.

The origin of the song "You'll Never Walk Alone" is a show tune from the 1945 Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, Carousel.

  1. I thought it was Rangers' anthem anot not Celtic's.
