Olic out for six months

Ivica Olic is set to undergo knee surgery that will sideline him for six months.

"Naturally I am very disappointed," said Olic, who last season scored 19 goals in 41 games in all competitions.

"I expected to continue the good run of last season and had high hopes this season," he said in a brief statement.

Schweinsteiger: "I like the Chelsea style!"

"I love the kind of speed of the English game but I don't know what will happen with me, I have a contract until 2012 and we'll see. What I love is the atmosphere in English stadiums. When we played last year in Manchester it was fantastic. I watch the English games on TV and I like the Chelsea style at the moment. They're very strong. For me, in England the fans are better, when the team give their best, they are not booing. It's more like they are fans more with the heart."

Arda Turan not interested in Premier League move

Galatasaray captain and Turkish international Arda Turan has ruled out a move to the Premier League after being perennially linked with Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and most recently a January move to Liverpool.

His agent told Sport.co.uk in an exclusive interview: “No, he will not be leaving Galatasaray, he will be staying. He is committed to the club.

“He has three years remaining on his contract and it is impossible for him to leave. He is the captain of the team and very happy at the club. There is no doubt he will be staying.”
