Sky Sports sources and various newspapers are reporting that Tottenham have turned down a £22million offer from Chelsea for Luka Modric.The Croatian playmaker is regarded as one of the Premier League's most creative and stylish performers with both Chelsea and Manchester United interested in acquiring his services.
The Blues are expected to return with an improved offer that will further test Tottenham's resolve.
