Kevin Nolan is on the brink of a move to West Ham United with the Newcastle United captain having a medical at the East London club.Nolan, who will turn 29 next week, was a crucial figure in the Newcastle side which won the Championship title in 2009-10, matching Andy Carroll's league goals tally of 17.
Newcastle slammed the Hammers' original £1.5million offer for Nolan, but it now appears a compromise has been reached.
