McLeish needs to fill the void left by Young's departure and he is keen on ADO Den Haag star Verhoek.The Dutch winger, like Young, can play on either wing and McLeish has had scouts watch him in the past.
And McLeish is ready to make a move for the 24-year-old as he would be available for a cut-price £5m, with Verhoek's contract due to expire next year.
