Courier Andy, 32, was so scared when he was asked to pick up the trophy from one exhibition and take it to another the next day that he made his missus sleep in the spare room while he shared his bed with the cup.He said: "I was told not to leave it unattended for a second."
"I kissed it then took a few photos. What footie fan wouldn't? I'm only human." he added.
He also admitted: "Danielle (his partner) was taken aback when I said I wouldn't feel safe leaving it downstairs. I had my hand on one of the handles all night."
Andy delivered the cup safe and sound next day from Birmingham's NEC to Pinewood Studios near Slough, Berks.
