According to sport.co.uk, former Manchester United and current Villarreal striker Giuseppe Rossi could leave the Spanish La Liga club for a European giant with the player’s representative sighting Chelsea, Inter Milan, Real Madrid and Barcelona as options for the Italian international.“We are currently discussing renewing the player’s contract.” Federico Pastorello said.

As it was revealed previously by Rossi's chief representative that a unique clause existed in his client's contract:
