According to sport.co.uk, former Manchester United and current Villarreal striker Giuseppe Rossi could leave the Spanish La Liga club for a European giant with the player’s representative sighting Chelsea, Inter Milan, Real Madrid and Barcelona as options for the Italian international.
“We are currently discussing renewing the player’s contract.” Federico Pastorello said.
“He is happy to stay there, but he is willing to wait for a big offer from a top club. He will only leave for a bigger club than Villarreal, and he would like a call from a Barcelona, Real Madrid, Inter Milan, or Chelsea. If not, he is happy and he will extend his contract. “
As it was revealed previously by Rossi's chief representative that a unique clause existed in his client's contract:
“Yes, before the club can accept any offer for Giuseppe they must check with Manchester United," Pastorello confirmed.
"I think it was a 24 hour window to answer whether they want to match the offer of a competing club, but obviously then it is up to the player to and if he wants to re-join United."
