Liverpool Prepare Hopeful Move for £8m Arsenal Striker

Roy Hodgson is keen on signing Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner as the Anfield boss looks to beef up his attacking options in the January transfer window. The Danish international has been linked with a host of clubs as reports suggest that he may look for a move due to a lack of first team opportunities at the Emirates.

Valued at around £8m Nicklas Bendtner is in his fourth season in the first team picture and is no nearer to getting regular first team football and may well be tempted by a move to Merseyside. The bulky Copenhagen born forward could be an ideal foil for Fernando Torres.

Roy Hodgson is looking to make significant moves in the January transfer window and by far his biggest priority is to look to ease the goalscoring burden that weighs squarely on the shoulders of Torres.
