Sunderland's Gyan had booked a winter break under the impression that English football stopped at Christmas and asked boss Bruce a few weeks ago when it started!He was astonished to discover the number of games actually increases in England at this time of year, but Bruce said he could go and see his family in Africa anyway after missing them over Christmas.
