Man Utd hand Ferguson £100M to reshape squad

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has £100 million to spend in the transfer market.

The Sun says Fergie's windfall came after he told United's board he needed to spend big.

Fergie needs some big players to replace Old Trafford legends Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs, who are both probably in their last season.

And he also wants another top-class striker with only Wayne Rooney and - occasionally - Dimitar Berbatov carrying the goalscoring burden.
