Given hints at January exit

Given has hinted that he could look to leave Manchester City in January after growing increasingly frustrated with his limited chances at Eastlands.

"As a kid growing up, you want to play football, you want to play games and when you don't it's frustrating, so it's more about me getting a game than the cap thing," Given said.

"My own personal situation isn't ideal, as everyone knows, and we'll see what happens over the next couple of months. I want to be playing football and so hopefully something will happen in the New Year. It's frustrating and I'm not coping very well, to be honest."

For Given there will be numerous options although the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal will be keeping closer tabs on the situation than others.
